| Important Terms Payment in full is due 14 days from the final service visit. All payments not received by the due date will be charged a $25.00 late fee. 50% of estimated balance is due prior to the beginning of service on all services extending longer than 2 weeks. For all new clients: 50% of your estimated balance is due before the start of new service. A separate signed & completed service request is also due for each client, before each service. With prior arrangements you may leave any payments and the completed service request for the first visit. However, your pet sitter must leave your home without providing any service if you forget either item. Now you can pay your Holiday deposits online using your credit card or Pay Pal account. | Initial Booking Consultation - 30-60 minutes At this visit we can complete the necessary paperwork, answer questions, transfer keys, and tour your home while discussing detailed instructions on how to care for your pets. This required meeting will be scheduled at least 48 hours prior to service. Drop In - 10 Minutes or less Short drop in to check on pet or to let dog out to relieve himself or to administer medication. Also to close windows, pick up packages, etc. Daily Walk - 15-30 Minutes This is a mid day walk so your pet can relieve himself as well as get out of the house and get some exercise. Great for the person who works long hours. (Weekly discounts available.) Regular Visit - 20-30 Minutes Our most popular choice. Good for many multiple pet homes, Supervised feedings, walks, and play. Most dogs will require 2-3 regular visits per day. Cats are best with 1-2 visits per day. Extended Visit - 40-45 Minutes Best for long walks, multiple pet homes, and pets with special diets or special needs. Good for horses & hobby farms, etc. Hourly Care - 60-70 Minutes Choose 1 hour increments of care Holidays There is an additional charge of $5.00 for all holiday visits. A deposit is required to book any service on New Year’s Eve New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July, 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. (All deposits are non- refundable and non - transferable.) Cancellation fees are based on the number of days cancelled prior to the start of service. (See chart for cancellation charges.) Travel Charges Service fee to pick up and return keys to clients, or you can place your key on file with Happy Trails to avoid this charge. Your keys are stored in a lock box and secured using a numeric code. Late Payments and Returned Check These charges are added on to your previous outstanding balance and are due immediately. Continued late payments or checks returned for insufficient funds could result in your account being converted to a “cash only” account and full payment would be due prior to the start of future services. Multiple Pets There is no additional charge for multiple pets. Please schedule adequate time to provide the services requested. If your pet or home needs more time then scheduled, it will be added as needed and billed to you. |
